Gotta say, I was thrilled to hear that @trufelman.bsky.social went to Natick Labs for her latest GEAR episode. My first job was at USARIEM - it’s an amazing place. Thanks for a great episode! (BTW, the ARMY t-shirts I bought 30 yrs ago are still goin’ strong.)
The next chapter of GEAR is out today.

So interesting. My dad was diagnosed w/ lung cancer in spring 2021. Detected early (incidental find), and he’s been diligent with his COVID-19 vaccinations. I wonder if they’ve helped the efficacy of Keytruda & his other “juices” (as he calls them).

Mayor Hidalgo has led its urgent and radical greening by introducing initiatives to reduce traffic and projects to reinvent the cityscape in a way that was undreamt of a few years ago.”
In 2006 I had the privilege of being the event photographer for a Jane Goodall talk at the University of Toronto. This is one of my fave shots. She was one of the good ones. (Okay, she was the best of the best.) #JaneGoodall

I get what this article is trying to do but framing improving cyclist and pedestrian safety as their responsibility (instead of the motorists that hit and kill them) annoys me. That being said, I do wear a light clipped to my shirt when walking at night. www.npr.org/2025/09/25/n...
