So many of these people seem to believe that the goal of education is the thesis or the essay, the written work itself.
Or the grade it receives. Or the diploma.
But the goal of education is to produce people capable of creating the thesis.

There’s no real debate. I have witnessed a very small number of ICE activists advocating for carrying firearms or even trying to agitate by physically striking ICE vehicles, etc. Let’s be clear: the incredibly vast majority of people resisting ICE correctly believe these people are fools.

The silver lining is that since we’re spending a shit ton of money we don’t have hiring experts to finish kitchen redo rather than self-contracting and DIY, we are going to just go ahead and widen doors and install windows that we had planned to do down the line. So I’ll get my fancy kitchen faster.

Personal update: so yes our house is contaminated with lead dust bc of a renovation snafu. Abatement company and contractors will be employed. Laundering every soft thing in house is in process. Strict shoe and vacuuming protocols have been implemented. Local restaurants are being patronized.
