Something unexpected about getting into older movies is having to wait for them. There are still some I'm waiting for Blu-ray releases to even watch for the first time. So, I'm thrilled that another Marx Brothers movie, At the Circus, is coming soon. This one's from 1939.

#MovieReview for A Night at the Opera (1935):

A fun adventure overseas with clever dialogue, fantastic slapstick, and some impressive stunts. I've also come to appreciate the musical interludes in these films.
The contract and stateroom scenes are solid gold and worth the price of admission alone!

One morning, I shot an elephant in my pajamas...

How he got into my pajamas, I don't know.

A hundred years ago The Marx Brothers were having their first phenomenal success.

Before the movies, TV and radio there was The Stage.

Two months ago, I bought The Marx Brothers Silver Screen Collection from 2nd & Charles since I’ve been wanting to see some of the other films that the Marx Brothers made. Next up is their second movie.
