Congratulations to the Upper Room Mission on the opening of the 24-bed winter shelter space!

This means 10,000 safe nights of sleep each year for those in our community who need it most.

Let’s be clear about what Alberta is proposing:

BC loses billions of dollars of major projects from private investors.

AND Canadian taxpayers are forced to pay billions more because there is no interest from a private company.

That’s not fair. And fairness is a Canadian value.

We have billions worth of private sector & First Nations led projects, that are ready to go and will create thousands of jobs.

Alberta’s fictional bitumen pipeline achieves none of these things.

My message at NYC Climate Week: Look to BC!

Our clean energy means we can produce the lowest carbon energy products anywhere in the world.
