Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz will reportedly return for a new 'The Mummy' movie

(via THR)
It looks like it’s going to be a blowout unlike 2021, righ?
Consumer confidence is not the labor market but thanks for admitting that trump made that worse too
You just don’t like the reply, not my problem
I also find the gender critical worldview to be idiotic and hypocritical misrepresentation of what it means to be a materialist so I like mocking it.

Though I do have some political agreements with GC, stuff you can arrive at without being a moron.
Read it again. Slowly. bsky.app/profile/imma...
women and men both get it, so it is perfectly acceptable to use the term "people" even if you don't factor in trans identity.

it is idealistic and moralist absurdity to get mad over this, but that's all you lunatics do is get mad over dumb shit.

Marjorie Taylor Greene on The View (!!!): "The worst thing that I just can't get over is we're not working right now. And I put that criticism directly on the Speaker of the House. We should be at work."
"take a breath" says someone mad about calling women people.

Here are the localities that State Navigate has gotten data from at 12pm
pink = NoVa
orange = SWVA

The NoVa counties are blowing everyone else away and SWVA is really struggling it seems
if you make backpay of furlough a condition that has to be negotiated to reopen the govt you will prolong the shutdown.

of course, i think they want it to go on as long as possible.
Q: Does the administration guarantee that all furloughed federal workers will get back pay?

LEAVITT: This is something we are very much open to discussing with Democrats as part of the discussions about the continuing resolution

(That's not a yes!)
they were also perfectly fine with fuentes saying that he wanted to burn witches at the stake and that women have no bodily autonomy, but suddenly they could be a target. fine for everyone else, but not for them, to be targets of nazis.

Most of my former colleagues on the right now wanting to kick the white supremacists, fascists, & antisemites out of the MAGA tent are the very same folks who either looked the other way or welcomed the white supremacists, fascists, & antisemites into the MAGA tent to begin with.

i read the nursery rhyme once already, no need to read again. continue whining all you want about it
cathy's "logic" is women aren't people, and that there are no men worth mentioning ever who get breast cancer. both points are stupid and worth ridicule, so i obliged.

cry about it

Breaking news: The Trump administration is sending messages to federal staff suggesting only those who are working during the government shutdown will be paid when it ends, despite a 2019 law that guarantees pay to furloughed employees, too.
Administration hints furloughed workers may not be paid after shutdown
Agencies are sending messages indicating that workers who are on the job will be paid when the government reopens — with no mention of those on furlough, despite a 2019 law protecting their wages.

We've gotten a few more SWVA updates from the SN crew, and it's looking more and more like there's a serious turnout issue there

Buchanan, Dickenson, Carroll, Pulaski all trailing significantly behind other localities updates at the same time
kinda where i am, though i think spanberger may only get 7
