After being drummed out of Starfleet due to his participation in the Khitomer conspiracy, Joseph Sysco would go on to standardize replicator menus across the federation. Which is why every restaurant in the federation serves the same replicated frozen mozzarella sticks.

Putting aside the many reasons they should include it, this is also negotiation 101: don't negotiate against yourself, such as by locking your demand in low when your counterparty refuses to negotiate.

Dems shouldn't take stuff off the table until Trump & GOP are truly negotiating.

Durbin on whether Democrats can use reining in ICE in Chicago as a precondition to rein in the government says “can’t do that. It’s gotta be health care all the way.”

not to dwell on the latest incoherent screed, but i look forward to the day in which trans women do not fawn over the transphobic ramblings of an outspoken eugenicist doctor as a speaker of truth and wisdom.

personally i think we deserve better than that. i think we should have higher self esteem.

It's useless except to remind us that they're censorious fucks who know people hate censorious fucks, so they pretend to be something else. And the people who went along with it should be embarrassed, and their defenses of their credibility are embarrassing.
volts.wtf
Do we really have such abysmal collective memory that we need to be *told* that the right has a history of censoring free speech? Have we really swallowed so much reactionary-centrist bullshit about "cancel culture" that we've forgotten that primal political truth?

Everyone always tells people to read Stone Butch Blues but then forgets to tell people about the part where Feinberg is on some “breasted boobily” type shit in the narration while describing the manic pixie trans girl being sexually assaulted by cops.

Is a woman not entitled to the sweat of her own pit?

No! says the woman in Seattle, it belongs to the polycule!

No! says the woman in Houston, it belongs to the anarchist commune!

No! says the woman in Chicago, it belongs to the dogwomen!

Another thing about "clanker" - from its origins.

The Clone Wars, in the prequels, actually hides a very transgressive and radical message: Military turns enlisted men into clones, shaves off difference.

In the show, they find ways to break free of that. New names, tattoos. Life, uh... finds a way

here’s how the rest of the #Eeveelutions react to bathtime… 🛁🫧✨
How Eevee and its evolutions (except Sylveon, as she was drawn in the post this one is quoting) react to being bathed. Pokemon, drawing description, and image text in brackets:

Vaporeon: wagging its tail happily in a shower cubicle (Needs no second bidding. Removing them from the shower is harder)

Jolteon: looking sidelong at the viewer with narrowed eyes (You know better than to shower an Electric type.)

Flareon: rolling contentedly in a sand pit (Fluffy fire type gets a sand bath instead!)

Eevee: being held in one hand, rinsed with the other, with big sad eyes and question marks (Too liddol to comprehend or rebel. Feeling a bit betrayed tbh)

Espeon: Peering out of a crack in a cupboard (Uses Psychic powers to choose best hiding spots until you give up)

Umbreon: Hissing wild eyed, clinging to shower curtains, with gloved hands attempting to reach (Acrobatics, unholy screeching, etc. Protective gear recommended)

Leafeon: sitting under the shower happily, eyes closed and tongue outstretched to catch the water (Calmest Eeveelution in the bath. Plant likes being watered!)

Glaceon: Standing somewhat tensely under the shower in silence (Tolerates it, but might be plotting revenge)

diagnosis: STINKY
prescription: wash
verdict: Not Happy!!!!!

Doodle of a Sylveon cornered in a shower and being rinsed, throwing its head back and letting out a woeful wail; reminiscent of most cats’ reactions to being washed

We're getting a wave of articles that are like, "gee willikers it sure seems like the people who complained about 'cancel culture' for years really like canceling people."

Yes! This was extremely obvious at the time and a lot of us pointed it out!
washingtonpost.com
Some say canceling is an act of redress. Others blame it on a mob.

“People have used the word ‘cancel’ so loosely,” Ernest Owens author of “The Case for Cancel Culture,” said, “that everyone’s calling everything a cancellation.”
How cancel culture came for everyone
Few issues in recent years have united the American right as much as their professed hatred of cancel culture. That’s changing.

Y'all purged all the transfems to make your space "safe", kept one token they/them transmasc, might have purged all the people of color and then post this about "deserving" - making a moral argument that trans women and non-white people don't deserve sales which keep many of us alive.

Sus choices!

They have, uh, removed every single transfem author that was in the bundle. I was joking when I said they want to make 'sapphic spaces' all-TME all-white again. 'Single-sex spaces for discussing sex-based rights' here they come.
