I could believe the getting it while drunk in Croatia being ignorant of what it was.

But no fucking way that sometime in the nearly last two decades he didn't look it up or have it pointed out to him. No fucking way.

Claiming that just makes me doubt the story about how/why he got it too.

Graduate seminar did a deep dive on Thomas Paine’s Common Sense yesterday. At the line, “in America the law is king,” they (14 students from 6 countries) burst out laughing. I've been doing this for 35 years and this is the first time that was a laugh line.

I'm seeing a lot of people claiming ICE has guided warheads. This seems to be based on a Substack newsletter which as best I can tell was referring to this contract. This contract is for distraction devices (sound grenades), but the PSC is for guided warheads

Jewish Insider just sent out an email with an article with more Platner info. And yeah, this guy is DONE done.

But according to a person who socialized with Platner when he was living in Washington, D.C., more than a decade ago, Platner had specifically acknowledged that the tattoo was a Totenkopf, the “death’s head” symbol adopted by an infamous Nazi SS unit that guarded concentration camps in World War II.

“He said, ‘Oh, this is my Totenkopf,’” the former acquaintance told Jewish Insider recently, speaking on the condition of anonymity to address a sensitive issue. “He said it in a cutesy little way.”

I don't think he is, or even was, a crypto-nazi.

But he was at the least completely fine having nazi symbology branded on his body for almost two decades.
