He has always been pretty consistent about this actually. He was somewhat supportive of BLM and compared Trump to Hitler when discussing the 2018 migrant caravan as well iirc

Today marks 5 years of struggle in Burma. So many lives lost, and so much liberty gained. Not a single state has raised a finger to help these people and the combined might of Russia and China stands against them. Despite all of that they’re still fighting.

One of the most profound memories I have of racing in Belgium is hauling ass around these little towns feeling like the cobbles were going to shake my teeth out and trying to parse tho little bits of the weirdest dance music I’ve ever heard.
Seeing little children suffering is one of the hardest things about my job. It can result in profound moral injury and has for many of us. If you were out there and this has impacted you, please speak to someone.

Just experienced the most intense tear gassing of my life by federal officers outside the ICE facility in Portland where marchers gathered. There was no fast exit as they indiscriminately threw loads of gas and flash bangs. Children were in the crowd screaming. @oregoncapitalchronicle.com
