Reminds me of when @adamschiff.com casually mentioned in an interview in spring 2022 that there was simply no "appetite" among Hse Dems to even consider using Sec. 3 of the 14th Amend. to expel their insurrectionist colleagues. I was enraged & despondent, but nobody else seemed to notice or care. 1/

Amen! What’s so enraging & soul-crushing is that some of us were screaming at the top of our lungs ~4+ YEARS AGO that the window of opportunity for criminal accountability for Trump & the GOP was rapidly closing. Yet everyone told us, “be patient,” “you don’t know what Garland is doing,” etc.

Just want to be clear that I didn’t mean that YOU didn’t speak out. You were one of the very, very, very few former federal prosecutors who DID. I was referring to the literal thousands who didn’t, or, worse, repeatedly assured the American people that Garland was on the case.
