It was a very gentle boundary too, like "hey look you've changed your mind about whether you want to do a co-op game 3 times tonight already, I know you're in a bad mood, but first you said "nah go to bed" and then 45 minutes later you said "I mean fine if you really want to", please don't do that?"

And it really shows when they don't even want to do anything with it other than "IDK, more and bigger". At least when we get the occasional gratuitous "it's... ANOTHER GODZILLA" moment the schlocky joy in being able to put another guy in a big suit is tangible, you know?

Periodically re-upping this b/c alas, things ain't great overall. Acute needs are all met, and I hate passing around the hat for myself, but I'd rather be like "hey, if I could fund another month while I still have savings and budget, that's MUCH more comfortable" than panic, y'know?

Also my bet is “the characters”. I watched that series! It’s pretty anodyne! Decent American mech show, one of my favorite double brick jokes in kids show history, but all the fan trauma that the show is “legendary” for is losing-chess-to-a-dog stuff.
