I never understand folks who complain abt how OTHER ppl protest. If you don’t like protesters to cuss or where frog suits, why don’t YOU go protest wearing a tuxedo and reciting the Magna Carta? No one’s stopping you, least of all the frogman, who will likely leap for joy for your involvement

I've found people often change what they say and think to justify their actions (or lack of action) rather than the other way around.

It's easier to make excuses about how "that wouldn't work anyway" or "it's best to just ignore them" instead of changing from doing very little to helping.

And even just in general, ANY time law enforcement are under scrutiny for their conduct, they will ALWAYS start off by claiming a civilian instigated violence or appeared to be armed. ALWAYS. It's not even that they're always lying, just that the truth is irrelevant to their claim.

This is why I'm frustrated by conspiracy theories around them covering their faces. There is an extremely logical reason for it: they know what happens to people who do what they're doing after the dust settles, and they don't want those things, trials or worse, to happen to them. That's leverage.
