I’d expect the Mirror to know the PM’s chief of staff well and I’d expect them to know there’s no chance in hell Labour are turning left.

The “wake up call” is like a snoozed alarm, it’ll do nothing.

The Mirror surely knows that Labour have exited stage left in terms of left wing politics.
A wake up call.

Labour have fully embraced neoliberalism and have ensured there is no debate within the Party to challenge this. Meanwhile the world over has seen neoliberal economics and politics fail to deliver through its trickle down myth. We now are at a crossroads: Green Democratic Socialism or Fascism.

It's becoming increasingly clear that Labour can not stop Reform. Labour pander to Reform and they normalise their politics, making it easier for people to feel fine voting Reform.

In England, voting and maybe even joining the Greens is a shrewder bet to stop Reform.

The last 24 hours have shown us what Britain is truly up against: a small phalanx of hatemongers who despise Britain so much they want to drag it down into the same filth they live in.

Joined the Greens. Never voting Labour again. Anyone who still votes Labour is just being conned by those liars again

I joined Greens too recently. My first ever party (and I’m in my 30’s!). Feel really happy about it, it’s our movement and not some Labour right suit, feels real compared to Labour

McSweeney Todd the killer of the Labour party.
Keir Starmer, McSweeney and the Labour right have really screwed it up. There’s no one left who’s even half decent.
Greens, Plaid and the SNP offer so much more than the lukewarm rehashed Tory nonsense from Labour. The country needs PR to save us from Reform
New post just out:

"Who might replace Starmer?"

With pressure growing on the PM, there are a lot of conversations going on in Westminster about who could take over.

Who are the contenders? Who's best placed to win? Would it make any difference?

Who might replace Starmer?
As predicted at the start of the summer, the idea that the Prime Minister might not make it through another year is gaining traction.

What a load of nonsense. It is just the (rightwing) media out for blood because it believes it sells papers. Whether you like Keir Starmer or not, at least he is a grown up who behaves himself both at home and abroad. It is rather refreshing actually.

I've recently rejoined Green Party. In last hour come off a call with various experienced activists and politicians.
I've been in/around fringes and frontline mechanics of left politics on/off since 1980s.
Truly never heard such clarity, candour, self-awareness as in tonight's Green Party meeting.
