Yay! My knees are crap so I couldn’t march but my sis and I dressed up the car with signs and flags and parked along the lake trail near the amphitheater and handed out water and snacks to some tired and thirsty demonstrators! So great to see everyone!

To get serious for a minute it's already brutal to be an autistic person forced to live in a capitalist society designed for neurotypical people. I don't think people really get how much translation autistic people have to do, the onus is ALWAYS on us to interpret, and perform neurotypical-ness.

No neurotype is inherently bad, but a society so inflexible to its members' needs is. To pathologize us, to say the very base of who I am is diseased and must be eliminated is a culmination of this inflexibility and the heart of eugenics - anyone 'different' must be cast out or destroyed. It sucks!
