This was the first music video I learned about the budget of - a gigantic 2.3 mil (4.6 today!). I will be forever sad the music video industry fell apart before I could get into it, I was so OBSESSED with music video production for years and still retain so many random facts about them lol

I was autisticly locked into film early lol, taught myself flipbooks -> in-camera editing -> vhs tape to tape -> Adobe premiere & at some point in undergrad I said 'it would be great if someone brought me all the footage and I just put it together' & people were like you know there's a job for that

the reason 101 dalmations looks like that is because disney incorporated xerography (ie early photocopying technology) into the animation process. rough pencils (by mostly male animators) were copied onto the cels so that disney could fire the (mostly female) inkers. remember that art can lie to you

I'm about cis as they come and every trans woman I've been friends with has greatly improved my relationship to my own femininity. Watching a good friend explore and appreciate her womanhood in such a fundamental manner made me do the same. Many cis women I've known want me to do the opposite.
I've never had a trans woman tell me to get back in the kitchen, or make a "joke" about how women shouldn't be allowed to vote. I've never seen trans women outside the planned parenthood calling women murderers and whores. trans women have never dogged me out for incorrectly performing femininity
