[Your 36yo mutual]: You know what. Heating pads are really nice, even when your body isn't in agony. It's just a very comforting feeling as you sit there doing your tasks.

Reminder that pretty much every author you know has (verifiably!) had their work stolen to train on.

I don't write like AI, AI fucking tries to write like me.
Just because I keep seeing those "I checked this piece and it's written by AI" - this is an old article of mine, before AI was available. So could we not?

What are the names that give you a fate? A young woman who gets pregnant to spite her father in a Medieval song is named Janet. A young woman who's Perfect and Accomplished but Beset By Difficulties in a Regency romance is Jane. (Jane Eyre wasn't hot, but her author wasn't named Jane lol)

Absolutely bodying myself because APPARENTLY THE LADY FROM FAIRPORT CONVENTION SANG THE B-PART WHEN THEY TOURED TOGETHER, I AM NEVER BEATING THE RENFAIRE MUSIC ALLEGATIONS!!!!!
My guitar teacher keeps describing the folk music I like as "renfaire music," so I looked up a LotR filk song I grew up with and now I'm really excited to play it on the acoustic guitar, with my own voice accompanying.

Let me tell you a tale of how completely the normies have been mobilized. My 14 year-old niece has done School of Rock for the past 5 years; last summer she was part of their touring band, and the kids loved playing together so much that they decided to keep doing it. (1/?)

'Island Lake, California' - an aerial embroidery commission from last September I haven't shared yet! The right hand side was a nightmare at times, very busy with textures and elements and odd shapes. I hope it came out effective though? I don't have much experience in rocky landscapes :)

Lrp for my money, I think a lot of the issue is that some people look like they know what elastic is and would like to go back to wearing it. As they said in the Chronicles of Crestomanci: they don't look dressed; they look dressed up. An actor has to look like they're in THEIR clothes.

There are some actors you just can't buy in period dramas. People say it's coz of botox and veneers etc but I think it's because some people just look like they know what a Twix is. Once you've seen it you can't un-see it.

Turns out firebombing a walmart IS effective but the only people with the balls to do it are the winemoms you've been shitting on for the past ten years
Wine moms will be like "Your plan of voting pales in comparison to my plan of firebombing a proposed ICE concentration camp" and then FIREBOMB A PROPOSED ICE CONCENTRATION CAMP.
KMBC: "A woman tried to set a fire at a South Kansas City warehouse that had been rumored as a possible ICE detention center. Earlier today, the company that owns the property confirmed it is no longer moving forward with a sale to the U.S. government."
