i love AMD it's so cool that their control panel thing has been telling me for months now that my drivers are out-of-date, but despite the fact that i have it set to automatically update and everything, it still just......has zero intent on actually updating it. great job.

AMD Adrenalin control panel. The control panel tells me that I am on version 25.6.1, from May 26th. It tells me that there is a new version of 25.9.1, released on September 8th.
Within the "AMD Install Manager" modal, you can see "Automatically keep AMD software up to date" checked, and everything indicates that there is no update to obtain.

One obstacle to Cuomo rising much higher: Mamdani's favorability rating is 43/35, but Cuomo's is 37/52.

I dunno what IDE you use, but there's a "Code Spell Checker" extension for vscode that has helped me notice SO many engineer typos.

....I started using it after one of those typos led to a pretty big incident 💀

I was on a floor where I had a few defensive things active, and may have accidentally stumbled and pulled like 5 mobs, and was able to actually just methodically work my way thru it.
It feels a lot more satisfying than just "i press 1 button and everything disappears".
