Main football stadium in Freiburg, Germany. Fits almost 35 thousand people, but the only on-site parking spaces are the ones you see. It does have 3,700 bike-parking spaces. Every game ticket includes free passage on 18 different transit providers: trams, buses, local trains, regional trains.

Andrew Cuomo gave more money in taxpayer subsidies to Elon Musk than the entire cost of Zohran Mamdani’s free bus plan.

It’s not unreasonable or radical to want our tax dollars to go to programs that help us, instead of as giveaways to billionaires.

The editors' omission of the words "incumbent" and "incumbency" in the @nytimes.com editorial make clear it was a bad-faith argument. Just 15 of 381 incumbents in Congress who ran for re-election last year lost, despite the abundance of far-right GOP candidates.

One thing that’s become very clear is that corporations understand the Trump administration’s willingness to vindictively punish noncompliance, and view capitulation as pure upside. Which means consumers need to be very, very aggressive about punishing compliance to balance that.

The story that the fed govt is tightening its belt is contradicted by its own real-time expenditure data. Admin spectacularly hammering some things but raising spending elsewhere.

It seems like the POTUS openly declaring he grabbed $20 billion from U.S. taxpayers to subvert democracy in another nation (and enrich his cronies) should get attention from major news outlets.
