We were there as work finished up replacing the red sandstone "Y" on the Bradbury Building facade that sloughed off earlier this week, and a kind artisan from Spectra gave us some real sandstone relics to keep!

I'm thinking of how messy and lived in all the spaces where characters like Bob and Sensei live in against the arid staging a McMansion for Zillow quality of the CAC headquarters and the empty particle board cube they show Lockjaw, who nearly swoons with ecstasy over it at that.

People half paying attention to old Looney Tunes on a CRT TV set and playing a board game together while keeping one eye out of their community. So well cast down to the bit parts, like the nurse who gently coaches Bob to say he's diabetic so he'll be sent to the hospital instead of jail.
