The thing that kills me about the LUMI AI stuff is that kids should be, and frequently are, bad at stuff. Allow them to have the experience of being bad at stuff by themselves.

Like the fun thing is that a listing like that already has someone in mind and they’re super specific so nobody else has a chance in hell, so really it’s all just sorta moot. Screaming into the void is therapeutic though, to a point.

Do you want a 90’s anime style or do you want something that looks like a JRPG cutscene
Because I studied off of Oshii and can go as hard as you want in the style of Amano but if you just want some thinlined overly polygonal bland stuff then you need to be less specific

The best part about going from comics to animation is that instead of a page rate that hasn’t increased for years even though the job has become a one stop shop, and stepped into a job that consistently pays less and demands more, which is still pretty bad

I don’t have much to add to the haptic/optic discussion other than I was talking with someone that 1) some things were made to be presented how they were presented 2) the absurd and impossible goal of things to be realistic as possible makes things look plastic and unreal.
