On Saints Row we had a debug npc named Skinballs (lol) that was literally just four spheres wrapped in different shades of skin texture so we could test lighting for different skin tones during development. But teams need to plan for that kind of testing with intentionality, and not enough do.

A really funny thing Nintendo did in New Horizons is they brought back the ability to play some old nintendo titles in Animal Crossing on the consoles you can buy in-game (something the original game had) but you need a Nintendo Online Subscription to play them. They're so stingy man it's unreal.
