Byrne's 6-issue mini is complete, and I absolutely loved it. Byrne coming in post-Crisis and reestablishing the Super mythos reminds me why I love comics, and I am excited to check out the rest of this volume, as well as the other volumes.

The Shadow of the Bat 3-part arc with Scarecrow was the sloggiest part for me; seemed filler and completely unnecessary.

For the most part, I enjoyed this. Been wondering where Dick has been throughout this whole saga, and while I do feel the handing of the mantle to Jean Paul was done quickly and uneventfully, I feel that's the "modern" reader in me, who knows that would have been a 4-issue event in itself.
