Ultimately Frank is not a bad manager nor a bad person. He’s very likeable and clearly a very good tactician. Unfortunately, like so many others, he simply doesn’t understand “Tottenham” or rivalry. He’s absolutely tanked his honeymoon period and has to change his tactics and ambition immediately.

Don't think yesterday could realistically have gone any worse for Frank (other than things really unravelling at 3-0). To go in with that approach in that fixture and for it fail so badly is an instant deal-breaker for a lot of fans. Esp as the players looked so uncommitted.

Pathetic.

Shambolic performance. The major issue being it’s not the first this season.

I'll say it again. Murderball, Anti Football, parking the bus. Whatever you call it is only the right tactic if you get a result.
We have played like a newly promoted team hoping to get a flukey point away at a title challenger, instead of a team trying to win a vital derby at our biggest rivals.

I would rather lose 5-0 trying to play football than whatever the fuck I'm watching right now is

The lack of any kind of ambition is what angers me. Getting beat by a better team is fine but playing for nil-nil from minute one is embarrassing.

This is what happens when you play scared focused on preventing your opponent from scoring instead of confidently playing to your own strengths. Very similar to the Chelsea game 🙄

Anti-football, getting what it deserves

Remember: The oligarchs who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us so they can become more powerful.

They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone.

Don't fall for it.

But if the government start taxing the likes of Starbucks & they leave, Are we seriously saying that Britain will stop drinking coffee?

£3 billion in UK sales & they don't want to pay tax?

It's time to get of the merry-go-round & use our smaller, local retailers who will pay their taxes.

Unbelievable end to the game and absolutely delighted for Scotland but key moment was the Denmark sending off which once more highlights the nonsense that is VAR. Who signed off on the rule that Red cards can be looked at but not 2nd yellows? Clearly equally important decisions.

There isn’t a politician or political party capable of steering this country towards a more positive future. Our political system is completely broken. Our values utterly shredded. Absolutely nothing in the word British to be proud of anymore. A country on a very steep and depressing downward spiral

Always amazed by people who have watch parties for their favourite TV shows. If I was ever forced to attend one, it would be remembered for me shouting ‘CAN EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCK UP PLEASE?’
For anyone still tempted to take Dominic Cummings at all seriously, he's now an advocate of Donald Trump-style open racism.
School pupils are to be taught how to tackle conspiracy theories, spot 'fake news' & root out misinformation. The Daily Mail, ajudged by Wikipedia to be an unreliable new source, is furious. You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to work out why.
The entire right-wing propaganda machine came after Zohran Mamdani.

The president and his allies came after him.

Democratic leaders, by and large, did not have his back until the last minute.

He still won, turning out historic numbers and inspiring young voters.

His politics can win anywhere.

Absolutely zero idea how to progress the ball from one end of the pitch to the other. Embarrassingly clueless performance going forward. It’s not just dull to watch, it’s woeful #thfc

The Rachel Reeves story is a non-story but such an idiotically avoidable one. Yet another. Labour aren’t corrupt like the Tories but my word they make a lot of basic errors they really can’t afford to.

Reached the pitiful point where “justice” equals the removal of Royal titles and free lodgings. Jail time doesn’t apply to the rich and powerful, the worst we can punish them with is minor inconvenience. Accountability and consequences no longer exist for the upper echelons of society.

The tone of language about Andrew and the royals is sickening. They’ve had a ‘tough’ day? It’s ’distracting attention‘ from their activities? ‘Difficult headlines’? Seriously: they are not the victims here. Have some respect for those who are.
Latest poll puts Greens just two points behind Labour. When I said we weren't here to be disappointed in Labour but to replace them, I meant it.

Calling English a 'rip-off degree' is one of the most blatant exhibitions of personal barbarism I've ever seen. You've demonstrated nothing but the poverty of your own mind.
Badenoch and Co see education only as a means to a massive income in some soul destroying career.

Devoid of imagination and the power of knowledge they view life entirely through the prism of the CV.

My advice always is to study what interests you and the rest will follow

Whether Jenrick Himmler believes the poison he's spreading or not, the more important point IMO is that he knows that there's a ready market for it, politically and financially. Seems to me he's liying in wait for as and when Reform implode and he can offer an oven-ready racist Tory party he leads.
I say this with the bluntness it requires: they will get people murdered if this continues. This is not just populism anymore either: it’s completely unhinged and a deliberate choice that does endanger lives. I am not saying this lightly at all.

£106 to book a standard train return from London to Preston for my eldest to go visit the in-laws. For less money I could book her a flight to at least 40 European destinations on the same dates. It’s a ludicrous world we live in. The solutions are easy but greed trumps common sense every time

Tory-yawnathon update:
Jenrick’s lot plots to oust Badenoch. Badenoch plans to scrap Climate Change Act and leave the ECHR. And it feels unbelievably tedious to even comment. This Tory party is over. Their brand is fucked. They reek of too much failure to be taken seriously. Plot away.
No one cares.
