NEW — A message of support has been circulating online for Chicago Ald. Jessie Fuentes, who was temporarily detained by federal agents last week.

A few signatures were noticeably missing: 13, to be specific.

Pro-tip: if you have video of you or others directly intervening to obstruct ICE or de-arrest someone, for god’s sake don’t post it on social media. Or at a minimum blur faces first. You’re just begging for federal charges.

We've recieved more photos from the inside of the South Shore apartment building that federal immigration agents raided over Monday night.

Doors bashed in, window panes missing, furniture smashed, water on the floor.

It's unclear what damage was pre-existing and what was inflicted in the raid.

For chemical irritants:

Use the recipe below for DIY Sudecon wipes. Apply only to the skin.

For eyes, water or saline only. Use a car key to poke a hole in a bottle of water. Tilt the head to the side, and aim the jet at the inside corner of the bottom eye.

How to make wipes for chemical weapons.

Mix - 1 gallon warm water, 9 cups white sugar, 2 tablespoons citric acid. To this
mix, gently stir in 21 fluid ounces of baby shampoo. Soak napkins or paper towels in the solution. Squeeze out excess. Place a couple of wipes in individual sealed ziploc bags. Make 200-300 packs.

These are perishable. Keeps a couple weeks in the fridge or a few days room temp. Apply to skin only. Water or saline for the eyes. Turn head to the side and try to aim a light jet of water at the inside corner of the eye.

JUST NOW — Our reporters are at the Broadview ICE facility (outside of Chicago) where protestors have been demonstrating since 5:00 a.m.

As a cargo van left the facility, a federal agent on the roof started shooting what seems to be pepper balls at protestors just before 9:00 a.m.

it appears bystanders helped chase off this crew of ice agents, who had boxed in a person's car outside a convenience store.

multiple people showed up and recorded the interaction. after a brief back-and-forth with agents, the feds got in their cars and left.
