Precisely. To save our democracy we’re going to have to work with people we otherwise wouldn’t speak to, much less have a coffee or a beer with. I’m FINE with that. We can fight about fiscal policy later. And we don’t need a level of trust beyond trust we hold to the rule of law, not despots.

She’s at least bright enough to know that she represents one of the poorest districts in Georgia (as we both know all too well). Those tax credit cuts will absolutely devastate the area health care networks. She said her kids will lose coverage, too. I suspect someone showed her the math.
