really, really like the way this ghost is etched out by Marie & John Severin here.

reminds me of Gekiga comics like Shigeru Mizuki's highly detailed work seen in his comic "NonNonBa".

the contrast of detail stands out & you can immediately see the careful thought put into how the ghost appears.

Kull and Brule the Spear Splayer walk through a hall.

arguably one of the worst things about car dependent suburban sprawl is that it's a core reason (along with brick & mortar favored zoning laws and racism and classism and-) that the US doesn't have a street food culture like elsewhere in the world. i want more local street food delicacies damn it.

Conan the Destroyer (1984)

10/10 Sword & Sorcery film. Grace Jones, Wilt Chamberlain, & Mako all lent great supporting roles. Definitely more light hearted than the first, & the happiest you'll ever see Conan in any form. Awesome practical sets.

I wish the King Conan film actually happened. :C

No idea why people unfairly malign this movie. Sure, it's a more light-hearted sequel but the scale and spirit of a good sword-and-sorcery story shines through. Grace Jones as an amazon is pitch perfect casting.
