Reading the WIP's in #Writesky back to back feels like sitting through Waking Life ( 2001 ).

I think from all of my WIPs, I hope people take away the message that humanity persists even in the darkest circumstances, and that love & empathy are always stronger than fear & hatred.

Maybe kinda basic but I think those are the ideas that drive everything I write.
What sort of message do you hope people take away from your most recent book/wip? #WritingPrompt
I initially looked for Hitler dog, then I just went with his name in the gif section :P
Locke's Interior minister pays very very well. You can win big in his casino's if you play your cards right. You'll sleep well knowing your business won't burn down so long as you pay for protection, on time. Long high is cheap and on the off-chance you irk him, your death might come quick.

Yeah, your Antagonist has flaws, but what are some green flags of theirs?
🟩

Can't think of any/not applicable to your villain? What would THEY say are their green flags?

Not a person, but a construct/idea? What do proponents say?
I recall one by Rumi.
About a boy who loved a girl in his class, the teacher noticed and poisoned her ( I assume Senna). Girl gets diarrhea and turns gaunt, boy loses attraction to her, teacher goes
aha! You loved her for her fluids and not her character!
I butchered this rendition but you get it.

That really means a lot, I appreciate it.
Besides appreciating this read, I love how you used the tree graphic as a point of view. Thank you!

Context: There’s some magicky stuff happening for Danbi at this point. Oh, and there’s a lynx.

It's only been a week but I learned so much from reading other writer's work and thoughts. My productivity tanked since signing up though.

This week's theme is COLORS! Tell me about something in your world that's PURPLE. Do you use it symbolically? Do you have anything special in your worldbuilding that's purple? Maybe an animal, jewels, a garment, a flower, or something more strange and magical?

One of the protagonists from further into the story, Nik, wields electrical powers. Her magic manifests as violet/purple lightning, and when a stone is charged with her power it glows a brilliant purple in color.

I honestly wish I gave myself deadlines. Restrictions force you to find outcomes right? And my gate scene isn't really much, I mean I like the gate itself because it's steampunkish but that's all really. Knock it out!

This is lyrical and from a time before the trove of life experience you have now. I can only imagine how it turns out if you go all out!
Days are still good! It was just way better back then lol.
What a throwback to when classmates used to frost-tip their hair. xD

Hmm, I could talk about another dragon 😂

But a different prominent green is the algae pools that grow the food source for the underground city of Ynthessen. A lot of their foods are algae based for that reason, so there are green soups, stews, and breads underground.
Hey there, #NovemberWorldbuilders!
It's COLORS week! Tell me about something in your world that's green. This one is probably more common, since green is so strongly associated with nature. Do you have any cool greenery in your world? Or maybe you've used it for an object? Tell me about it!
Don't hurt nobody lol. Stay up!
Definitely this one 26 book encyclopedia that included all sciences somehow from A to Z. Found it in a yard sale ( damn I miss those ). It was made for children so my 8 year old mind really chewed it all up, and it had dinosaurs. I think.

Hope the editing works out great! I'm still a ways from having the courage to call it in for editing. Also I like how for your prompt you chose this scene regarding the gate, I was going to choose a similar scene describing a gate too, but I opted for another. Best wishes.
Blast some Busta Rhymes' - Where's my money before walking in! Sorry don't it'll probably add to the anxiety. I hope it turns out well.
Palm-tree's becomes a sort of inside joke/ reference from then on.
My two MC's survived a terrible ordeal and sat down at a dirty bus stop, eating pizza past midnight. A couple in a flat got in a fight.

Over minutes the wife tossed out identical palm-tree patterned shirts with varying colors on the street, until the MC's couldn't stop laughing at his wardrobe.
