내가 일본인들과 논쟁을 할때 윤봉길에 대해서 테러리스트니 뭐니 하는 일본인들이 제법 있었는데 그들 조차 윤봉길 최후의 대화를 보고는 '진짜 사나이다'라고 격찬을 했다

김구에게 자신의 고급시계를 주며 김구가 차고 있던 싸구려 시계를 달라고 하며 한말은 다음과 같다 : "제 시계는 6전이고 선생님의 시계는 2전이니 시계를 바꾸시죠, 어차피 제게 남은 시간은 한시간 밖에 없습니다."

이 두 시계는 정말 현대사를 넘어 2006년에 용산의 백범 기념관에 다시 모이게 된다.
