For a while I could just do the three months at the reduced rate, pay one month after at normal, go to cancel and then get the reduced rate again. Eventually I just cancelled, and then they emailed me with a $1 version of that same offer...

Was it, though? Maybe Variety exclusively had the PR for about two hours ahead of other outlets.

Journalism outlets need to start being more assertive about this. An exclusive is not worth nearly as much if all the other outlets don't have to source it from you.

Watching the dominos arrange for subtle, seemingly innocuous shifts in history and perception. Eyes looking in different directions, a slightly different carpet color, etc. What troubles me is when it becomes indiscernible and later used for reference in other media. AI Mandela Effect inbound.
