I GM over Discord so we use a dice bot and when I started a new campaign I chose a different dice bot for UI/system reasons

Every bad roll the players blamed the new bot and demanded I add back the old bot

I finally did and the old bot immediately gave them a long streak of awful rolls.

when someone says "my dice are cursed" you sort of have to agree with them because if you say "marius you are a grown man and I know you know that's not how probability works" they won't say anything but they'll treat you like you are in league with the cursed dice

There's a bunch of complaints about how it involves committing a false start penalty but the refs never call it, or that it's allegedly unsafe, or just that "it's not real football, it's boring to watch" which I think is all just a disguised "my team isn't good at it"

I've noticed the opposing team's fans only cheer when the opponents score on us. To win those fans over, I recommend we score on ourselves repeatedly; that will surely make them so happy they'll start supporting us. And I'm sure all our fans will keep cheering for us—who else is there to cheer for?
