I used to think people just didn’t understand what Columbus did but now I think some are really attached to him (as opposed to other worthy italians to celebrate) because their whole thing is not only getting away with doing horrible things but forcing everyone to praise them for being horrible

What a horrific tragedy. This is what happens when people decide it’s acceptable for drug users to die, and when we allow law enforcement to pretend to be experts on drugs and how drugs work. It’s very likely that this man would be alive today if he had received medical care instead of imprisonment.

"Ari" is working in the poblano chilis in Santa Clara County. He explains how workers harvest the chilis, then take their full buckets over to a conveyor belt & dump them on it. The conveyor belt goes up lifting the chilis & "Ari" then directs them into different bins. #WeFeedYou

Two workers are hard at work loading full boxes of grapes to be taken to cold storage in Mettler, CA. It was already 90° at 1 pm which made this physically demanding job even harder. To load the truck they had to be in the direct sunlight lifting heavy 20+ lb boxes. #WeFeedYou
