That’s why Nintendo has such a strong approach to keeping their older games in circulation starting with Virtual Console and today with NSO/Nintendo Classics, now adding Virtual Boy and a replica accessory.

I was right! He was talking about keeping IP in circulation using movies to keep the IP alive as hardware ages and older games get overshadowed by newer releases.

As I wrote 10 years ago in my final magazine: you have immediate access to decades of games/scans/videos/etc. to make a unique gaming text. You can go bigger than a zine and still make it look cool, and you don't have to make yet another platform/genre catalog. Curate and craft for god's sake

For anyone lamenting how some goon was able to get a publishing deal - put together your own book! Create a solid concept, do some planning, create a design, and pitch it! Most publishers don't have open pitch seasons. They want to see someone that can see a full project to completion.
