So this is just legitimate ragebait. The context was specifically about expanding the Nintendo IPs and the Nintendo Museum where they can see and use old hardware. Here's the question and answer

Y’all have GOT to stop uncritically sharing Stealth’s posts without checking your sources!

I can’t find a source for when and where Miyamoto supposedly said this or who translated it ANYWHERE and yet my timeline is flooded with takes on it.
That’s why Nintendo has such a strong approach to keeping their older games in circulation starting with Virtual Console and today with NSO/Nintendo Classics, now adding Virtual Boy and a replica accessory.
I was right! He was talking about keeping IP in circulation using movies to keep the IP alive as hardware ages and older games get overshadowed by newer releases.
This one line quote from this one article is going to be argued about and taken out of context a lot without more explanation.

It reminds me of the talk about a "mature" Mario for Sunshine when he was really talking about going back to Mario being for everyone like in the Donkey Kong days.

As I wrote 10 years ago in my final magazine: you have immediate access to decades of games/scans/videos/etc. to make a unique gaming text. You can go bigger than a zine and still make it look cool, and you don't have to make yet another platform/genre catalog. Curate and craft for god's sake
For anyone lamenting how some goon was able to get a publishing deal - put together your own book! Create a solid concept, do some planning, create a design, and pitch it! Most publishers don't have open pitch seasons. They want to see someone that can see a full project to completion.

Did you know I wrote a book about the origins of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, console RPGs, and their rise to success in North America?
Aidan Moher's Fight, Magic, Items: The History of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and the Rise of Japanese RPGs in the West is an outstanding exploration of the rise of the genre and how it's shaped popular culture.

The artwork of Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen by Akihiko Yoshida used on the cover of the #SuperFamicom and NA #SuperNintendo releases as well as for advertising. Removed the seam between pages, logos/text, applying the usual clean/retouch process without upscaling.
Make sense if the digital versions are sold separately. In a way, customers who already bought 3D Allstars can just buy SMG2 for $40 to get the additional game.
