Calling my local food bank today. We are pretty rural, and I know a lot of the people here are on fixed income and probably snap.

I'm broke, our family scrapes by. But we can afford food, so I'm going to see what they need most, food or money, and chip in.

Money donations to a larger food bank like the Greater Boston Food Bank can go twice as far as food donations because they buy food in bulk.

Consider this as an option when you’re thinking about helping your neighbors out.
