“No, Speaker Johnson — the No Kings rally on October 18 is not a hate America rally. In fact, it’s quite the contrary: It’s a love America rally.” #NoKings

Trump hates humanity. He considers low income families beneath him. He wants to simultaneously increase energy prices and foul the air. This needs to stop

The Trump administration canceled a $7 billion program intended to help low- and moderate-income families install rooftop solar panels. The cuts are dealing a disproportionate blow to the Republican-led states that propelled him back to office.

Of course it was never about fentanyl & it certainly was never about democracy & as we suspected it was all about the oil. The pollution profiteers control our government

You shouldn’t be a pawn in President Trump’s political games. @kaine.senate.gov and I are fighting for Senate Joint Resolution 71 because we don’t want families to pay the price for Trump’s war on affordable, American energy.

Gas is not cheaper per kW than solar based on what I have read

Physician-scientist @smahalingaiahmd.bsky.social was studying how air pollution affects reproductive health when her federal funding was cut. When vital research like this is halted, we miss opportunities to dig deeper and find the solutions we urgently need.

If solar with storage gets us close to baseload why do we need to expand gas? I like that he cited you but I think he’s missing something

SCOOP: The Bureau of Land Management says the largest solar project in Nevada — the Esmeralda 7 mega-farm — has been canceled

The news was quietly dropped via a sudden website update with no public word from any of the companies involved or a statement from the agency

This is such bullshit! Why do we keep shooting ourselves in the foot? Do we want to keep dying from air pollution while China eats our lunch in energy domination????🤬

Is there any hope for better forest management to help? I’m worried that the die is cast & no matter what we do to reduce GHG emissions we are stuck with hot, dry summers for a while. @jimwhittington.bsky.social

Every new smoke study is nothing but bad news.

We'll soon need to use different strategies and tactics that limit firefighter exposure. But can you do that and reduce community smoke exposure too, or will it mean more fire on the landscape longer--and thus more deaths? Another climate quandary.

It is unacceptable to willfully dismantle the health care system in rural communities!!! Let them go to the ER kinda sounds like let them eat cake

SCARBOROUGH: The Nebraska Rural Health Association says at least 6 rural hospitals would have to close bc of the big beautiful bill

FLOOD: Here's the deal: Some hospitals that are rural hospitals are going to eventually have to transition from being acute bed hospitals into being an ER model

Exactly. So what he’s saying is that its ok with Republicans to force rural hospitals to give suboptimal care for heart attacks & stokes. I’m sure folks living in rural areas & their doctors & nurses would disagree

Thank you!!! Making it safer for people to not use their cars is a high priority for me. Thank you for your serious work on this
