So, 2 things:

1. Glad a reporter asked about this.

2. The reporter ultimately didn't ask Johnson a moral/religious question, but a technical policy one. Given Johnson's background, worth asking him *specifically* if he supports shooting clergy w/pepper balls and if it's a religious liberty concern

It’s part of this bizarro mindset that is trying to claim Christianly as a narrow political party rather than a serious spiritual practice. Reminds me of the many conservatives who dismiss regular Mass-attending Biden’s faith because he’s politically liberal.

Also why should a president’s uninformed opinion about entertainment at a private sports event even be published as news? Politico’s the one giving him celebrity coverage. They could focus their reporting on his areas of expertise, like the Epstein files or the illegal military occupation of cites.
