I'm calling NAME, because honestly, I'm terrified at the broad swath of firing that appear to be ongoing and highly detrimental. Over the weekend, folks were fired from the FAA. Musk and his unelected cadre of flunkies are also trying to get access to IRS information. This is deeply alarming.
There have been so many heartless and unnecessary firing, but they are all things that affect the wellbeing of Americans. Farmers are suffering. People from the FDA were unceremoniously let go. Folks who were in charge of nuclear safety were too. I am scared for the health and safety of our country and its people. Something needs to be done to rein in Trump and Musk. Again, Musk is not an elected official.
America is not run by a king. Do something. Get loud. Address the public. Get on the news. ![Hello, I am calling [Senator/Congressman] to voice my concerns about the departure of David Lebryk from the Treasury Department.
The Bureau of Fiscal Service and its federal payment systems are critical to supporting the lives and livelihoods of millions of Americans.
The possibility that these federal payments could be awarded or withheld to align with the current administration’s partisan interests is not only unacceptable and unconscionable, but would threaten Congress’s role in determining the appropriate allocation of many federal funds.
