On one hand since the GAO reforms in the 50’s in theory the comptroller general can just sign for the money and it magically works; in reality the world does not work any way shape or form how any of the gibbons that have taken up residency in the Pentagon think it does.

Because of how complex defense accounting is and how the money crosses different years and programs, DFAS is set up specifically to draw at those dates from those programs. You can't just create $15b dollars, you need to allocate it across a bunch of different areas and subsequently pull from/

For the record, I think the pay only the military bill is immoral and wrong, I know the agricultural officers, or the FSO’s, or the park rangers are not beloved by the American public but they serve the American people just the same.

Look if no one ends up in a brig for the comments they make I will be very disappointed. (As far as I remember no one in the CG did last time but that was more a function of most stations where to busy working multiple jobs to stick someone in a jail cell)

Now that the local and national press have started to cover the Portland ICE area round-the-clock in reaction to the President, Antifa have devised a plan where they are encouraging one another to come in animal costumes.

The costumes serve the function of masking the violent extremism to make the direct action appear like a family-friendly gathering on camera, and to whitewash the past ultraviolence.

In 2019, Antifa devised a similar plot by giving out free "milkshakes" at a protest. But they couldn't contain their bloodthirst and nearly killed me when they saw me. In 2020, they mobilized a fake "Wall of Moms" where female Antifa supporters and members wore yellow shirts to act as human body shields while violent rioters behind them hurled projectile weapons.
