My surgery got taken over by a franchise and all the doctors left coz of the conditions so they have two temporary ones serving a whole area - must be tens of thousands of people. Add that to terrible data management and they’re under stress, but I would be an uber receptionist so it’s hard

Yeah but it’s a complex request about a doctors letter and I’ve learned the best way to get something if it’s difficult is just to piss them off by asking reasonable questions til they’re annoyed enough to do the thing
