As I'm moving from hoping to meet my funding goal into actually producing my 'Zine Storage Boxes I have been revising the design. This one is "A Love Letter to Self-Publishing", very similar to what I mocked up initially, but less messy and busy, and I think nicer www.kickstarter.com/projects/the...

Mostly pale yellows, pinks and purples, the design mimics the famous Marvel Comics 25th Anniversary edition covers, except is filled with all your favorite characters from the world of self-published and indie comics. Yes, SMILE was originally a minicomic.

These boxes are designed for holding digest-sized (5.5x8.5") minicomics, and each one will come with a complimentary 24 page full color 'zine along with a nice print of a comic about the power of self-publishing

Not only have editors prevented me from showing my ass in public, so has hiring sensitivity readers. I’m a big fan of both. Having someone be honest with you while also keeping your best interests at heart is something to be valued not dismissed
