Despite that, I don't think I am the target audience for it. The mobile platform focus doesn't do much for me nowadays, but I'll try to at least check it out. I was content to live with the current Dissidia games, so this shouldn't affect what I do too much. If nothing else, I'll meet new people.

Teams of 3, boss battles featuring iconic series creatures, attacking large crystals for a power boost, special abilities with cooldown, 4 character archetypes (attacker, speedster, ranged and this time support) and a timer.

These are all things Dissidia NT has.

So the new Dissidia got announced, and I will say it's interesting that it still derives elements from That Game Players Hated and puts them front and center. It tells me that on some level, the devs didn't want to throw away that game's ideas wholesale.

Coming back from the dead 💀 to share this. This was my first co-op project ever, and while it was a bumpy road getting here, it was worth all the headaches with RPCS3 and Vegas to make it happen.

Every trip out of the save room in REmake is a game in itself. This is where you "hatch the plan": managing memory, probability, and hubris. Can I carry X and still collect Y in a single lap? The game toys with this further, when a critical shortcut has a limited number of uses before locking up.

Baiting a zombie grab is *just* reliable enough where you think it's the dominant strat, but ofc fixed windows, tight corners and tank controls push back. Is this how you wanna risk crossing this hallway the next 6 times? Even more dangerous when Jill has less health and is slower than Chris.
