When prices were going up under Biden there was a constant deluge of news stories about it because the media did not like Biden and wanted him to lose. Under Trump there is not a constant deluge of news stories about coffee prices because they like Trump and want him to win

Huh! I have a friend in California with a lemon tree and it produces a ridiculous amount of fruit, but that's probably a good climate + 300 years of breeding. (It also explains why, in the Aubrey and Maturin books, people would adulturate the lime juice. Lot of money in it! )

Hmm! I might rethink a thing. A lot of farmland in the US is growing corn for ethanol, so farmers as a whole may have a pro-car bias. On the other hand, wind turbines take basically zero space away from farming and are an extra revenue stream.

This presumes that the essence of Catholicism is the worship and/or veneration of clergy, particularly the Pope, and that’s never been a settled thing within Catholicism.

I mean, yes, these guys are ridiculous, but not because they argue with the pope. Catholics argue with the pope. It’s a thing.
