The best way to see my art is on my tumblr- there's more of it, its better to actually search through, its properly tagged and I can often go into more detail for background context.

While I like bluesky fine enough, its not super conductive for sharing art.

Mind you, i dont think spindlehorse should continue working with hussie simply because *every* fucking time this guy works with anyone else on a big project he fucks them over. Hussie has shown time and time again he manipulates people around him to an absurd extent.

Id be very curious if they continue past this. I think they might continue on anyway since its under spindleroo which probably needs the work but 1.8 million views in a time when indie animation can get 10s of millions of views in days is not great. Maybe merch sales are strong enough?

They outright hinted merch sales would be the main driver of a decision to greenlight, but i also just dont think its not already in production. The investment and workflow is not easy to set up or getting a talent like Dana. It'd have to underperform below homestuck to be cancelled

i saw someone really say that spindlehorse doesnt know how to do anything outside of their own style and it really baffled me because it doesnt look anything alike, but i realized that they care so little that unless it looked exactly like the webcomic, there was no pleasing them whatsoever

-very mixed reception, especially for a indie pilot
-spindlehorse has a very specific niche audience at this point that doesnt overlap as much as you think
-homestuck really doesnt have the cache it used to, goodwill was burnt up with existing audience
-major scandal the week of announcement

SUPERBATOBER 11: COZY -- Ah! A nice and lazy, rainy weekend. Good for hanging out on a couch, a purring cat to your right, a cup of tea to your left, and a good book resting in your blanket wrapped lap. That's how Batgirl is spending it! I wonder if Supergirl, half on the floor completely passed out, minds that her friend is taking up half the couch to do so. Judging by her snoring, probably not.

it's why i think constantly hollering at people about the lesser of two evils is participating in a race to the bottom. i think its fine to expect that politicians have an interest in serving you, an interest in governance, and a genuine and enthusiastic desire to make things better for everyone

Also like the reveal is meant to be more than just oops all nazis for chris, its supposed to be that his "perfect" reality is very much something he'd be against but hes only been seeing what he wants to see. Everyone in this reality has been. Outsider perspectives blow it wide open

Im like trying to think of what you could reasonably go back to earth x for beyond keith but thats the kind of thing you pay off later. Chris is broken, the finale is about peacemaker healing from a very traumatic set of events with the friendships hes developed over the show
