The bloom changes in Eevee was the big stickler for me. It's also less performant in live viewports and I have to recompile shaders every time I'm just doing simple modelling. I ended up using cycles at a low sample rate for live changes in render preview mode.

Blender 4.2 has some improvements in cycles, but I can't use Eevee as effectively anymore.

As of today my Witch plushie collection is no longer complete. Sega has decided to release 16cm sitting plushies and Witch is one of them.

Guess it's time for me to watch Mercari like a hawk, then.

the switch 2 is the first console I feel like I was just plain priced out of and it's not even an unreasonable price for a console, I think I just need to contend with the fact that I'm financially struggling

Aren't rules meant to be enforced? If they're saying "oh no if there's a no AI rule people would break it anyway" then way not ban the offenders from contributing?

To add, without this change Fedora would be shipping AI-assisted code anyway. If Fedora had a no-AI policy people would just break it, meaning Fedora contributors wouldn't know if specific code was assisted by AI or not.

So long as rules can easily be broken, they will be. This prevents that.
