Grammar PSA:

"Segway" - a two-wheeled scooter popular in the early 2000s.
"segue" - a transition from one thing, such as a topic of conversation, to another thing.

They are pronounced the same: "SEHG-way".

Also, "segueway" is not a word. If it was, it would be pronounced "SEHG-way-way".

- Mixing up a batch of cookies and tasting the batter at every stage (first when it's just sugar+butter, then after adding egg+vanilla, then after adding the flour+everything else).
- Whipping egg whites or cream and watching them go from liquid to FLUFF.
- Packing brown sugar into a measuring cup.

- The smell of matzoh soaking in egg in preparation to be made into matzoh brei.
- The smell of yeast activating.
- A bagel, toasted just a tiny bit too dark, with a generous layer of cream cheese and a thin layer of jelly (not too much!)
- A hard-boiled egg that cooperates with being peeled.
