There's currently a Steam Detective Fest event right now, and there's some very neat games on sale, such as The Séance of Blake Manor, a game that is quite honestly pure genius. I still need to play more of it to give it a proper recommendation, but it's been thoroughly brilliant so far.

People talk about Pathologic all wrong.
The first game is *thorny* in the sense that it's literally about being jerked around, lied to and otherwise bamboozled into dead-man-walking situations. You need to save and load and dodge around those traps a lot

Huh. Pathologic 2 is neat. Held off for years thinking it was some HARD CORE HORROR kinda game, but no not at all?

It's *good* that public people who lots of folks pay attention to wore anti-ICE pins to a swanky event. It has gotten coverage. People who do not closely follow politics might get curious and look for information. And under fascism, making public your ethical stance is important in and of itself.
