The depth of the shame of a country this wealthy and abundant allowing its people to go hungry is impossible to measure. The fact that a handful of people could fix this by paying their fair share of taxes while still remaining obscenely wealthy makes it even worse.

The old expression about the law being an ass, comes to the fore from time to time. There is no one law, open your eyes. Law has become a sliding scale based on wealth. Law now has no moral or ethical component. It simply seems taken over by greed & power.

Everything I read makes me more convinced that humans are devolving & becoming less intelligent. Now while that matters not for the MAGAts of the world, I prefer to be a little more upbeat about falling intelligence levels.

I’m tired of the bullshit. Most of the people who receive snap benefits work.
