This past week has been a busy and quite stressful mess for a number of reasons, but one thing that did 'merit' a smile was spotting this exceptionally clean Astra F. Shame about the pound land wheel trims.

What is the most unexpectedly dismal car you've owned, with no particular fault you can put your finger on?
Just a car that by all logical reason is totally fine but just can't help being miserable?
Mine is this Honda Orthia, small with a 2.0 should have been decent, was somehow just so very dull.

The Spacia is now officially an 8 seater again! Unfortunately the folding seat had been pushed up against something narrow while in storage in the previous owners shed - so it has developed a noticeable dent. It has now been designated the “gooch seat” until it sorts itself…

Venturi (originally founded as MVS: Manufacture de Voitures de Sport) tried hard to establish itself as a French luxury GT maker. This English-language brochure from the early '90s features the mid-engined 210hp and 260hp models, including a Spider version. #weirdcarbs

Does anyone else panic buy a cheap car just before their dailys MOT? Not sure what I expect the trusty Audi A4 that I found in some undergrowth a year ago to fail on, but I'm now also the proud owner of a Daewoo Nubira...
