The US is 28th, not considered a full democracy any longer.
And there is a lag between realty and their yearly report.
Don't expect to even rate a "flawed democracy" or rating as high as 28th going forward.
We are a dictatorship. Fledgling to be sure, but we are no longer a representative democracy

On 10/2, Trump unilaterally slashed foreign farmworkers wages.

At the end of the season, when workers who might protest are no longer in the fields, he cut 400,000 people’s wages by as much as 1/3.
