From a government that despises all of us. Fighting for it; but we gotta organise. How are we supposed to organise if we're at each other's throats? If we all have hatred for each other... I just want people to be able to exist as how they are without judgement (as in culture, disability etc)

That's not how the world works. I can certainly agree with you on things. I mean- I'm sure we can agree that all people deserve equal access to fresh water, food and adequate shelter regardless of where they come from or who they are. It's just a matter of how we're gonna get that

I understand the need for defence. I can't comprehend the generational trauma that your families suffer from. But I can't grab your hand if you're going to slap it away for my skin colour. I have grown a lot over the past few years, and I continue to grow. As we all do. We can grow together.

Can we agree that this isn't a good take. No one is going to be perfect. We can only strive to be the best we can be. There are some things that are just unforgivable, yes. But not every person has committed that. So if we approach each other with understanding and patience, we'd come together

Watching a video about lead exposure and possible causation of crime rates and also not surprised that the poorer neighborhoods faced more exposure and I refuse to listen to any asshole saying that poor folk choose their circumstances and life trajectory.

God yeah. My parents didn't let me have anything that wasn't white in my room. It felt like living in an insane asylum for most of my teenage years, and contributed massively to my mental illnesses being as bad as they are now. Like- its BAD for us.

I've seen a really funny dynamic play out in my mentions several times now where people are really excited to jump in and be mad at me, assuming I did something heinous, and then I get to watch in real time as they scroll through my posts and realize I didn't actually do anything wrong
