Marvel & DC just swallowed up all the smaller imprints, so Warner Bros and Disney pretty much own everything. I'm sure there are good things but I really can't be bothered to go looking. There's so much toxic crap in all nerd culture, I'm just kinda done 🤷

The endless superhero slop spunked out by Marvel & DC, who pretty much own all the imprints, didn't help. Jesus fuck, are people not bored of that yet? Yeah, yeah, The Boys. At least the TV show wasn't as racist and sexist as the books (I have all of them too.)

Been sorting them out recently because I've done some renovations. Shocking (in hindsight not shocking) number of writers/ artists turned out to be sexual predator. Also, a bunch of fucking racists, misogynists.

My naive wish is that even one Canadian journalist, one politician, one security analyst, would address the implications of Canada choosing military integration with an authoritarian power that no longer respects the rule of law or international law.
